Sanctuary Totem for the Migrant Boats is an abstract, wall-mounted, mixed-media sculpture made with vividly colored branches in electric blue, magenta, green and yellow. At its center, a triangular sail-like panel marked with a purple target-like pattern evokes themes of navigation and resilience. A gold compass-like pointer indicates the unwavering direction to sanctuary. An upturned log raft honors the trepidations and perils of forced migration.
